GIVE

'Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.'
2 Corinthians 9:7

As Christians we believe that the new life that Jesus offers us is a free gift of grace. There is nothing we can do to earn it.

As our response to God's grace, as an act of worship, and as a demonstration of our trust in God to provide for all of our needs, the Bible encourages us to give financially to support the work and needs of the church.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a scheme available to charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs). It means they can claim extra money from HMRC.

The charity or CASC can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate as long as you've paid the basic rate of tax and make the donation from your own funds. That means Gift Aid can increase the value of your donations by 25%, so you can give even more to the cause you care about.

As Harborough Community Church is a registered charity, the church benefits from the Gift Aid initiative.

If you want to start giving and are a UK taxpayer, we'd encourage you to fill out a Gift Aid form. You can pick one up at the church reception any time or get in touch with us at connectwithhcc@gmail.com and request a form.
